Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We’re sensitive to your needs, and our goal is to make your visit comfortable while we provide the best care possible.
Dr. Totzke loves welcoming first-time visitors to her dental practice, and new patients have plenty of time to speak with our dentists regarding their overall health and how they would like to see their smiles transformed under our care. Dr. Totzke will help you create your treatment plan and answer any questions.
Please allow 1 to 1.5 hours for your first appointment so that we can perform all necessary assessments to diagnose and ensure our team formulates a personalized treatment plan just for you.
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. We will perform an oral cancer screening and check your gums, bones, and teeth. One of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth and inspect your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis. Be advised that extended treatment plans require another appointment for treatment plan presentation.
Premedication may be necessary in case you have certain health conditions. Please consult your Physician before your appointment to ensure you don’t need premedication.

Otherwise, please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to complete the paperwork in person.

PPO Type insurance policies are accepted, and we can verify and estimate your benefits as a courtesy to you.
If you have Dental insurance, please provide us with your insurance information at least 48 hours before your appointment. This way, we can verify and give you reasonable fees and better estimate your benefits. In the event we cannot verify, our discount plan will be offered.
Cash and credit card are preferred forms of payment.
A discount plan is offered for patients without insurance.
